About Lunar LD
Lunar Lion Dance is a community-based lion dance troupe founded in 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is to share the art of lion dancing across the region through our performances, workshops, and events, welcoming individuals from all walks of life, regardless of background.
Our team consists of a ceremonial festival drumline, a percussion ensemble, and an acrobatic dance group. We perform traditional lion dancing routines for a variety of events, such as cultural festivals, community celebrations, private functions, corporate events, and more.
